Jennifer Day is an experienced Family Therapist at Calmer Clinics, specialising in emotional intelligence coaching, parenting, stress management, and leadership coaching. She is the author or co-author of six books translated into ten languages and has designed and facilitated seminars and training for organisations, businesses, schools, parents, teachers, and the general public in the US, Hawaii, the Caribbean, the UK, and Europe.
Specialising in person-centred counselling, Jennifer has spent nearly a decade studying alternative approaches to stress and emotional management, including Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Autogenic Training, Play Therapy, Alexander Technique, Point of Power, and HeartMath. She co-founded and directed VIA, a stress management consulting firm in the UK, and co-designed and directed an emotional literacy program implemented in 12 public schools in the UK.
Jennifer has combined her extensive experience and knowledge to develop ‘in-the-moment solutions’ that help individuals move beyond regrettable actions and dysfunctions, understand their feelings, tap into their strengths, and unlock their potential both emotionally and professionally.
The resulting Applied Emotional Mastery® has been the subject of research studies and has been taught to thousands of individuals, executives, physicians, students, teachers, and parents in the US and the UK.
