His practice also includes device implantation and management, covering pacemakers, defibrillators, heart failure devices, Micra leadless pacemakers, subcutaneous and extravascular defibrillators, and pacemaker lead extraction. He earned his MBBS and MD in General Medicine from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, and completed a DM in Cardiology at St John’s Medical College, Bangalore. He holds a postgraduate qualification in cardiac electrophysiology and pacing from UZ Brussels, Belgium, and completed a postgraduate course in heart failure at the University of Zurich, Switzerland. He also undertook a transplant and assist device observership at the German Heart Institute in Berlin. He is certified as a Cardiac Device Specialist (CCDS) by the International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners, and holds EHRA certification in cardiac electrophysiology and HFA certification in heart failure.
