About Mr Jason Ho
Mr Jason Ho is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and Vitreoretinal Surgeon with subspecialty interests in vitreoretinal surgery and medical retina at the Prince Charles Eye Unit in Windsor. He is also Honorary Consultant Ophthalmologist at Western Eye Hospital, London. After gaining a first class intercalated honours degree in Immunobiology, Mr Ho graduated second in his year at Imperial College School of Medicine with Distinction. He undertook his ophthalmology residency training in London in Moorfields and the Western Eye Hospitals, followed by subspecialty vitreoretinal fellowship training at St Thomas' and Western Eye (Imperial). Mr Ho is an editorial board member of Eye, the journal of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists where he is a member of the Microsurgical Skills Training Faculty and the Examination Panel. He is a keen surgical trainer and actively trains postgraduate subspecialty vitreoretinal fellows. Mr Ho treats general ophthalmic conditions as well as diseases of the retina, both surgical and medical. His special interests include vitreoretinal surgery, retinal detachment repair, cataract surgery with premium lens implants, macula hole repair, epiretinal membranes, vitreous haemorrhage, diabetic retinopathy, medical retina, complex cataract/lens surgery, age-related macular degeneration, and retinal vascular disease. Jason takes pride in providing the best possible care for all his patients and is both an expert cataract and retinal surgeon and an ophthalmic specialist who has a calm, friendly, kind and holistic approach to healthcare and is keen to ensure his patients are treated in the most efficient, timely and accurate manner.
