About Mr James Wokes
Mr James Wokes is an award-winning NHS Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive, Aesthetic and Head and Neck Surgeon based in the North East of England. He graduated from medical school with Distinction and went on to complete a decade of specialist plastic surgery training both nationally and internationally. His training culminated in the award of the prestigious Ian McGregor Gold Medal for outstanding performance in the FRCS (Plast.) consultant examination in 2018. Following completion of his higher surgical training, Mr Wokes undertook competitive and highly regarded fellowships in cancer surgery, complex reconstruction and cosmetic surgery in both the UK and overseas. He subsequently returned to the North East to take up his consultant post, bringing advanced surgical expertise and international experience to his practice. In addition to his reconstructive and oncological work, Mr Wokes has extensive experience in aesthetic surgery and non-surgical facial rejuvenation. His comprehensive skillset allows him to offer a multifaceted and tailored approach to cosmetic treatment, ensuring that each patient receives an individualised consultation and treatment plan aligned with their goals. Mr Wokes is committed to delivering exemplary patient care and achieving natural-looking results. He offers consultations for cosmetic surgery of the face, breast and body, as well as non-surgical aesthetic treatments, from clinics in Jesmond, Newcastle and Washington.
