About
Dr. Price has a strong interest in research and serves as the radiotherapy quality assurance lead for the UK phase 3 TORPEdO trial (IMPT vs IMRT for reducing toxicity in oropharyngeal cancer) and the PROTIS trial (IMPT vs IMRT for treating sinonasal cancer). His other research interests include improving patient selection for (chemo)radiotherapy through mathematical models and using advanced imaging techniques to predict treatment outcomes.
Dr. Price is the clinical lead for implementing electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePROMs) across clinical teams at The Christie and serves as the medical lead for alcohol and smoking services within the Trust. Additionally, he is a Clinical and Educational supervisor for Clinical Oncology trainees and an examiner for the Royal College of Radiologists.
