About Dr Jagdev Singh
Dr. Jagdev Singh, widely known as Dr. Dev, is a Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Consultant at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead. With over 15 years of experience in paediatrics, Dr. Singh has cared for children across a wide range of specialties including neonatology, critical care, endocrinology, retrieval medicine, general paediatrics, rural paediatrics, and developmental paediatrics in both Australia and Malaysia, before specialising in Paediatric Respiratory and Sleep Medicine. Dr. Singh is also an academic researcher and clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney, where he actively contributes to the education of paediatricians and trainees. He has delivered numerous teaching sessions and presentations in the field of respiratory and sleep medicine and has received several accolades, including national teaching awards and an international research award. His clinical expertise covers the full spectrum of paediatric respiratory and sleep disorders, with special interests in: • Asthma and wheeze • Chronic or recurrent cough • Recurrent lung infections and bronchiectasis • Noisy breathing in infants and children • Sleep-related breathing disorders such as snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea • Chronic lung disease in premature infants • Congenital abnormalities of the lungs and airways Dr. Singh is committed to providing evidence-based, family-focused care that improves respiratory health and sleep quality in children.
