Having completed UK national dermatology training at prestigious London teaching
hospitals including Barts Health NHS Trust & the Royal Free NHS Trust,
Hayley has also spent time at the University of California, Los Angles (UCLA),
University of California Irvine (UCI) and the Erasmus Medical Centre, Netherlands.
Hayley has expertise to consult in all aspects of general dermatology with a
particular interest in acne, mole mapping and early detection of skin cancer.
Hayley is fellowship trained in procedural dermatology and has vast experience
in cosmetic removal of skin lesions. She also specialises in providing bespoke
skincare regimes tailored to individual needs.
Alongside her established private practice, Hayley works as a substantive NHS Consultant Dermatologist at the Royal Free NHS Trust in Hampstead, which is a tertiary dermatology centre. Hayley's NHS work involves running skin cancer clinics where she sees patients for mole checks, management of complex skin malignancies as well as performing complex dermatological surgery including Mohs Micrographic Surgery (a highly specialised technique to treat skin cancers, which achieves the highest rate of cure and best possible cosmetic outcomes).
Hayley is fully accredited with the General Medical Council and has been an active member of the British Association of Dermatologists since 2012. She is on the executive board for the British Cosmetic Dermatology Group (BCDG) and has previously been a national representative for the British Society of Dermatological Surgery. Hayley is co-director for the BCDG injectables course, which delivers training in cosmetic procedures to dermatologists across the country in partnership with the University of Manchester's Skin Ageing & Aesthetic Medicine modules.
Hayley has published research in internationally renowned journals including identifying new prognostic markers for melanoma, for which she won an award by the American Academy of Dermatology. She has also been awarded five international prizes for her presentations on a variety of dermatological topics. Hayley regularly speaks at national and international meetings because she is passionate about professional development. This ensures her knowledge and skills remain up to date with the latest evidence and advances to provide the best possible care for her patients.
