About Ms Hannah Lewis
Hannah is a Counsellor and Psychotherapist (MBACP) with a background in Clinical Psychology. Hannah has worked within both adult and child NHS Psychology services for the past 10 years. Hannah graduated with a BSc in Psychology from Leeds Beckett University in 2011 and began work as an Assistant Clinical Psychologist in 2013. Whilst working within a CAMHS service in 2016 Hannah trained to administer the ADOS-2 (completing a recent update in April 2014) and has continued to work within Neurodevelopmental assessment pathways since this time. Hannah is also particularly experienced in facilitating and interpretating diagnostic assessments for Learning Disabilities within adults. Alongside Neurodevelopmental and Psychometric assessment work, Hannah has trained as a therapist. In 2016, Hannah worked within the Children and Young People’s IAPT programme, completing a post graduate certificate at Northumbria University in enhanced evidence-based practice. This course centred around providing CBT modality interventions to children and young people with low level mental health difficulties. In recent years, Hannah has worked towards a Master’s degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy at Leeds Beckett University whilst volunteering at Nottinghamshire Women’s Aid, where she provided trauma informed counselling to female survivors of domestic abuse. Hannah has a specific interest in Psychodynamic and Relational Psychotherapies.
