Dr. Haneesha Pinnamaraju is a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrician at Neuropedia Children's Neuroscience Center. She completed her Bachelor’s in Medicine and Master’s in Pediatrics at St. John’s Medical Institute in Bangalore, India. Dr. Pinnamaraju is also a member of the Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health in the UK. She pursued Superspecialty Fellow training in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics through the Indian Academy of Neurodevelopmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
Dr. Pinnamaraju is adept in Developmentally Supportive Care and High Risk Neonatal Clinics, as well as in managing Developmental Follow-Up Programs. She specialises in addressing Early Childhood Developmental Delays and Disorders, including Motor and Speech delays, Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Cognitive delays, Intellectual Disabilities, Learning Disorders, and various Behavioral Disorders. Additionally, she leads School Readiness Evaluation Programs, Developmental Assessment and Evaluation, and Outreach Programs on Socio-Emotional Learning. Her work also encompasses Developmental Follow-Ups and Parent Counseling.
Her particular areas of interest include Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, and Early Intervention Developmental Programs. Dr. Pinnamaraju is a strong advocate for moving from "Label to Enable," emphasising the empowerment of children with special needs and fostering inclusivity and community acceptance of neurodivergence.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Pinnamaraju is passionate about teaching and research. She has received recognition for her contributions in these areas and is an active writer, serving on the editorial board for newsletters aimed at educating and empowering parents with various parenting skills.
