Dr Ghasham earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery in 1998 from King Faisal University in Saudi Arabia. She subsequently completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dalhousie University in Canada, achieving her Canadian Board Certification as a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in 2008. She has also undergone specialised training in robotic gynaecologic surgery. Dr Ghasham is a proud member of the Society of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
