Frau Prof. Dr. med. Sabine G. Plötz ist Fachärztin für Dermatologie mit der Zusatzausbildung zur Allergologin. Ihren medizinischen Abschluss absolvierte sie an der Technischen Universität München. Im Laufe ihrer Karriere konnte Frau Dr. Plötz große Erfahrung und medizinische Praxis bei medizinisch indizierten und ästhetischen Behandlungen, wie z.B. Entfernung von gut- und bösartigen Hautveränderungen mittels schonender Operationen oder Lasertherapie erlangen. Im Zuge von Behandlungen von Hautkrebs und Hautkrebsvorstufen eignete sie sich verschieden Verfahren, wie die Kryotherapie, Lasertherapie und photodynamischer Therapie an. Zu ihren weiteren zentralen Schwerpunkten zählen neben der Hautkrebsvorsorge sowie -behandlung, die Behandlung mittels Laser bzw. Laserepilationen, Botulinumtoxinbehandlungen und Faltenreduktion.
Neben ihren ärztlichen Tätigkeiten hat Frau Dr. Plötz eine Lehrbefugnis und Lehrbefähigung für das Fach Dermatologie und Venerologie. Sie hält Vorlesungen für Medizinstudenten an der Technischen Universität München sowie Vorträge, Fortbildungen, Lehrbuchbeiträge und Fachveröffentlichungen in namhaften internationalen Zeitschriften. Ihre PatientInnen behandelt Frau Dr. Plötz in ihrer eigenen Praxis „Dermatologie Harlaching" in München sowie als Konsiliarärztin im Krankenhaus der Barmherzigen Brüder München.
