Dr Gregory Malone is a Urologist. Dr Malone studied at the University of Queensland, graduating in 1992. In 1998, they completed a Master of Medical Science degree at the University of Queensland. Their research focused on urinary tract cancer, with an emphasis on pathways of cancer spread.

Dr Malone is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Urology). In 2002, Dr Malone undertook post-fellowship training at the Institute for Urology and Nephrology in London. This fellowship focused on prostate cancer and radical prostatectomy, prosthetic urology, endo-urology, and the management of complex stone disease.

Dr Malone was a member of the surgical team involved in the first robotic radical prostatectomy undertaken in Queensland. In 2008, they undertook post-fellowship training in the Da Vinci robotic surgical system with an emphasis on robotically assisted laparoscopic radical prostatectomy.

Dr Malone is a Mentor/Trainer for Prosthetic Surgery, with particular reference to Penile Prosthesis insertion and Male Sling therapy for urinary incontinence. They are a past-chairman of the Australian and New Zealand Association of Urological Surgeons (ANZAUS). Dr Malone was the Convenor and Chair of the 2014 USANZ Annual Scientific Meeting held in Brisbane.
