At Urquharts Opticians since 2015, Fiona's responsibilities include conducting GOS sight tests, fitting contact lenses, dispensing spectacles and low vision devices, as well as providing support to practise management and staff training. She has also been instrumental in the development of a visual stress clinic to address the specific needs of patients.
Fiona's experience includes running macular management clinics, and utilising OCT technology to enhance diagnostic and treatment capabilities. She is skilled in fitting contact lenses, providing cataract pre and post-operative advice, and offering support for low visual aid appliances.
Fiona holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Optometry from Glasgow Caledonian University, graduating in 2003.
