Ms Gafarova has been practising in Dubai since 2015 and currently consults at Cosmesurge clinics within the anti-ageing and IV infusions department. She carries out a range of diagnostics including DNA tests, DUTCH adrenal tests and NutrEval tests for vitamins and minerals. First qualifying in 2006 with an MD, Ms Gafarova went on to achieve her master's degree in Endocrinology before completing a postgraduate diploma in diabetes from the University of Wales, UK. She became a specialist endocrinologist at Nodira-Mirazim Tibbiyot LLC, a private medical clinic in Uzbekistan, where she worked for four years. Following her relocation to Dubai, Ms Gafarova then became a general practitioner at RAK Diabetes Center as well as the Medcare Women and Children Hospital, Dubai.
Ms Gafarova is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE) and the Emirates Diabetes Society (EDS).
