Trained at St Bartholomew’s and The Royal London Medical School, followed by surgical training in London and Wessex, including a PhD researching immunotherapy and cancer vaccines, and culminating in a prestigious international fellowship at the Royal Adelaide Hospital in Australia, Mr Noble stays at the forefront of surgical innovation.
Most recently, Mr Noble has supported the introduction of robotic oesophageal and gastric surgery at the University Hospital Southampton NHS Foundation Trust. He has also introduced new techniques for anti-reflux surgery into his practice, including the Refluxstop and Linx procedure. Whether managing routine procedures or complex surgical challenges, combining cutting-edge techniques with a commitment to safety, comfort, and optimal recovery ensures that every patient receives the best care to suit their individual needs.
Surgical outcomes are assessed both within and externally to the hospitals and can be reviewed via the National Oesophagogastric Audit and the National Hiatal Registry. Further authored work can be found here in book chapters and peer-reviewed publications.
Philosophy of care: “I believe that whilst Surgery undoubtedly requires technical skill, delivering great care is more than just a procedure. It’s about treating each patient as an individual, building trust and being transparent about options available, and exploring the best treatment plan for you. I’m here to listen to your concerns, answer your questions on the treatments available, and work with you to deliver care that enables you to live a healthier and happier life”
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
