Dr. Esther Zachariah is a highly experienced Pediatric Occupational Therapist based in Dubai. Her journey began with a foundational education in Occupational Therapy from Christian Medical College, Vellore, followed by a Doctoral degree from Boston University, USA.
With nearly a decade of dedicated service, Dr. Zachariah has significantly impacted the field, initially working in a hospital in India where she led the early intervention group and established an Autism clinic. Upon relocating to Dubai, she joined Neuropedia and played a pivotal role in setting up the occupational therapy department. She currently serves as the Clinical Team Lead, where she continues to shape and support the team's approach.
Dr. Zachariah is a certified Sensory Integration® therapist and has received specialised training in DIR-Floortime® principles and the Astronaut Training protocol®, addressing vestibular, visual, and auditory dysfunctions. Her work encompasses managing fine motor issues, handwriting difficulties, sensory processing issues, and other developmental challenges. She is deeply committed to evidence-based practices and multi-disciplinary collaboration to enhance child care.

She has founded a social media platform, Therapy with Esther (@otequalsplay), and a toy company, The Toy Pharmacy®, aimed at providing resources and support for home-based interventions.
