Psychotherapy
About
Emma is committed to building meaningful relationships with her clients. She emphasises the importance of creating a relaxed, non-judgmental, and safe environment where individuals can freely express themselves. Her approach is centred on helping clients understand their patterns and develop the awareness needed to alleviate their distress and achieve their therapeutic goals.
Since joining Priory in 2022, Emma has served as an EMDR practitioner at Bristol Park Clinic, while continuing to run her own private practice. Before transitioning to counselling, she spent over 15 years in the commercial sector, giving her a firsthand understanding of the pressures associated with a corporate career.
Emma is an accredited member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (BACP) and a member of the EMDR Association UK. Her qualifications include a Certificate in Counselling Skills, a Certificate in Counselling Studies, a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling, and an EMDR Level 3 qualification accredited by EMDR Europe and led by Dr. Robin Logie.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
