Dr Al Anizi provides comprehensive women’s healthcare, with particular expertise in high-risk pregnancy and maternal–fetal medicine. She is highly skilled in advanced obstetric and gynecological ultrasound, including complex fetomaternal assessments. Her clinical practice encompasses antenatal care for both normal and complicated pregnancies, management of placenta previa and multiple pregnancies, and conducting normal, instrumental and operative deliveries. She is experienced in emergency obstetrics and gynecology, including the management of critically ill patients.
Her surgical expertise includes both minor and major gynecological procedures. She performs laparotomy for ectopic pregnancy, ovarian cystectomy (simple and complicated cases), abdominal and vaginal hysterectomy, hysteroscopy and colposcopy. She has also assisted in oncological cases and operative laparoscopic surgeries. In addition, she provides family planning services, patient education and counselling, and comprehensive gynecology clinic care.
Dr Al Anizi currently practises at Truelife Specialty Hospital in Al Ain, where she manages antenatal care for normal and high-risk pregnancies and performs deliveries and surgeries with independent privileges for minor and major procedures. She also holds privileges at NMC Hospital and Jowhara Mediclinic in Al Ain. Previously, she has worked in leading institutions including Burjeel Hospital and Mediclinic in Abu Dhabi, Dubai Hospital, Danat Al Emarat Hospital and Medeor Hospital, among others.
Her earlier career included senior specialist roles in Jordan and Iraq, as well as residency training at major teaching hospitals in Baghdad and Basra. She obtained her M.B.Ch.B. from the University of Basra (1979–1985), completed a Professional Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Baghdad Medical College (1991–1993), and earned a Diploma in Advanced Obstetrics and Gynecology Ultrasound from the Ian Donald School (2009–2010).
