In 2018, she completed her MD Res degree from Queen Mary University of London after a three-year research fellowship at the Clinical Trials Service Unit CTSU at Oxford University.
Dr. Aung completed her specialist training in Diabetes and Endocrinology from the Oxford Deanery in 2013. She was appointed Consultant Endocrinologist at the Royal Berkshire Hospital in 2014.
