Dr Stephanie Arnold
Dermatology
About
Dr. Arnold completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney and began her dermatology training at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney. In 2010, she was awarded the Australasian College of Dermatologists Travelling Fellowship to Oxford, where she continued her training for 3 years, including a 12-month dermatopathology research fellowship. She completed the challenging Australasian College of Dermatologists Fellowship in 2014, and so holds specialist recognition in both Australia and the UK. She became a Consultant Dermatologist at the Churchill Hospital in early 2017.
Dr Arnold's particular interest is in vulval skin disease - she runs a monthly NHS joint vulval clinic with the gynaecology-oncology surgical team. She has a wealth of expertise in managing all types of vulval skin conditions, ranging from lichen sclerosus, eczema and psoriasis to precancerous conditions such as vulval intraepithelial neoplasia (VIN) and Paget's disease. She is comfortable in discussing and prescribing a range of treatments, including medical, surgical, and laser therapy options.
Dr Arnold is an excellent skin cancer diagnostician, helped by her many years of managing skin cancer in Australia and the UK, including 6 months working at the Poche Melanoma Institute in Sydney.
Dr Arnold - everyone calls her Steph - wants to help you feel comfortable in your skin, free from symptoms, embarrassment and fear. A consultation starts with listening and learning about your unique situation, examining your skin carefully, and talking through solutions that are tailored to your needs. Get in touch - she'd love to help!
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
