disease needing stents. Published data shows that non-invasive tests like cardiac CT reduce heart attacks in patients compared to standard assessment with treadmill testing.
He also performs weekly cardiac MRI scans which are frequently crucial in evaluating heart failure, valvular heart disease and arrhythmias, as well as performing all aspects of basic and advanced
echocardiography. He regularly trains junior Cardiologists in the same.
Dr. Sanjay Banypersad’s is honoured with several distinguished international awards from the American Heart Association and Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance for his work in cardiac imaging. He has over 20 book and journal publications to his name and holds the 2nd
