About Dr Robert Hatrick
Dr. Robert Ian Hatrick is a Consultant Cardiologist who qualified in 1996 from Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals medical school in London. He undertook his Cardiology training on the Wessex Rotation, including 3 years at the Wessex Cardiac Unit in Southampton. His training was completed with 2 interventional Cardiology fellowships at Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust and then the Green Lane Cardiovascular Unit, Auckland, New Zealand. He covers all aspects of adult Cardiology and a specialist interest in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention including angioplasty; stenting; complex coronary intervention; rotational atherectomy (Rotablation and Intravascular Lithotripsy); Intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and pressure wire assessment (FFR and IFR). He lives with his wife and 2 teenage children in West Sussex. He is a keen sportsman and enjoys tennis, sailing, mountain biking, hiking, and skiing.
