He currently serves as a consultant interventional cardiologist at the University Hospital of Wales and Llandough Hospital.

Professor Anderson has specialist expertise in: hypertension management, atrial fibrillation and coronary artery disease, as well as cardiac catheterisation, blood pressure testing, cardiomemo recording, cardioversion, cholesterol level testing, coronary angioplasty, ECG monitoring, event recorder (24/48 hours), and exercise ECG.
