About Dr Phillip Harrison
Dr Phillip Harrison is a consultant hepatologist based at London Bridge Hospital. He also holds an NHS post at Kings College Hospital. He treats a range of conditions, including, liver disease, non-alcohol related fatty liver, liver fibrosis, primary liver cancer, and hepatocellular carcinoma. He specialises in endoscopy and is able to perform liver tests and Fibroscan. After graduating from St George's Hospital Medical School in 1984, he later earned an MD from London University and a PhD from King's College University. He became a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians in 1997. Dr Harrison is involved in immunotherapy research for hepatocellular carcinoma and has published several papers in the field. In 1994, he was awarded the GR Giles Prize for Hepatology. He is a highly regarded author and lecturer, as well as a world-renowned hepatologist with a global patient base.
