About Dr Malcolm Smith
Dr. Malcolm Smith is a Consultant Gastroenterologist who qualified in 1997 from the University of Aberdeen. He has been a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary since 2007. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh and a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology and Scottish Society of Gastroenterology. He is a trainer in endoscopy, colonoscopy, and ERCP. Dr. Smith's specialist interests include inflammatory bowel disease, functional bowel disorders including irritable bowel syndrome, advanced upper and lower GI endoscopy. Dr. Smith performs Colorectal Screening colonoscopy. He is the lead clinician for Inflammatory Bowel Disease in Aberdeen.
