About Dr Krishan Varma
Dr Krishan Varma is a specialist in Dental Implantology with a wide range of experience in both the surgical and the restorative aspect of dental implants. Qualifying with a Bachelor in dentistry from The University of Manchester in 2007, Dr Varma went on to continue his training in 2009 for three years in restorative and implant dentistry with prosthodontist Dr Paul Tipton, a specialist in his field. Here, he was awarded the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons. After this, he continued his education with a further degree in Aesthetic Dental Implantology at The University of Central Lancashire where he achieved a Master of Science (Merit) in 2014. As well as his extensive experience in the UK, Dr Varma has trained internationally at some of the top dental centres around the world including Harvard and Tufts Universities in Boston and The Kois Centre in Seattle. At these centres, he studied modern advances in restorative, aesthetic and implant dentistry. The range of training and experience he has developed has allowed him to develop the knowledge and skills to manage whole mouth restorations as well as single-tooth restorations. Dr Varma can also carry out same-day implants and is always sure to adopt a friendly approach to his patients.
