About
Dr Cairn graduated from The London Hospital Medical College in 1991, and completed postgraduate training in the North West Thames region, including at the Royal Brompton, Harefield, and Charing Cross Hospitals. He maintains strong clinical links with the tertiary centre respiratory teams at the Royal Brompton Hospital and the thoracic surgical team at Harefield Hospital.
Dr Cairn leads the West Herts service in interstitial lung disease and coordinates the ILD multidisciplinary team. He contributes to the lung cancer MDT. His work and practice includes procedures such as fibreoptic bronchoscopy and non-invasive ventilation.
