About
Dr Sharpe undertook junior medical training at the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust before joining the Yorkshire-wide Basic Surgical Training Rotation. During this time, Dr Sharpe developed a strong interest in orthopaedic surgery and elected to carry out their higher training in radiology with a special interest in musculoskeletal work. In 2007, Dr Sharpe secured a place on the highly competitive and nationally renowned Leeds Radiology Training scheme. Following Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists, Dr Sharpe dedicated their final two years of training to specialising in musculoskeletal radiology.
Dr Sharpe carries out all forms of diagnostic musculoskeletal imaging with particular emphasis on ultrasound and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
