Dr Jacob Taljard is a Senior Consultant Anaesthetist working within NHS Lanarkshire. His work includes involvement in clinical safety processes, healthcare informatics, and the development of digital solutions to improve patient care and service delivery.
Coming from a Military Background in the South African National Defence Force, Dr Taljard has extensive experience in healthcare leadership and personnel management, having undertaken senior roles such as rota consultant and coordinator. His background also includes involvement in complex anaesthesia, paediatric critical care retrieval, and paediatric intensive care support.
