He completed UK Higher Specialty Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry between 2022 and 2025, with placements spanning neurodevelopmental and tic disorders clinics at Queen’s Medical Centre Nottingham, community CAMHS in Derby, the Children Looked After service in Nottingham, CAMHS Learning Disabilities at Brooklands Hospital Birmingham, and community CAMHS in Cannock. He also undertook an acting-up Consultant role in CAMHS in Telford from 2024 to 2025, where he led the MDT, ran outpatient clinics, and supervised middle-grade and specialty doctors.
Earlier in his career, he completed Core Psychiatry Training on the Black Country Scheme from 2018 to 2022, gaining broad experience across general adult psychiatry, older adult services, CAMHS, learning disabilities, psychiatric intensive care, and assertive outreach. He has also held a Trust Grade SHO post in Paediatrics at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust and worked as a Clinical Teaching Assistant at King Saud bin Abdulaziz University for Health Sciences in Riyadh. He has presented at national and international conferences, including the RCPsych Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Annual Conference in 2023.
