About Dr Geoffrey Thorley
Dr Thorley is a Consultant Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychologist and Neuropsychologist. Dr Thorley assesses and treats mental health in children and young people. Dr Thorley has been awarded degrees of Master of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology and Doctor of Philosophy in Clinical Child Psychology. They are an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society, a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine, a Chartered Psychologist, a Chartered Scientist and an Affiliate Member of the American Psychological Association. Dr Thorley is a member of the UK Register of Expert Witnesses and a Law Society and Association of Personal Injury Lawyers approved Witness. Dr Thorley has authored several scientific research papers for professional journals and has published a book, "Successful Parenting - the Four Step Approach", to assist parents in parenting effectively and resolve a number of the more common behavioural and psychological problems in young people and young adults.
