About
Dr. Christos Kasparis is a UK-trained Consultant Dermatologist and has been practicing in Dermatology since 2008. He completed his medical training at Manchester University in 2004, before training in general medicine until 2008 giving him broad and valuable exposure to various medical specialties, as many skin conditions can be related to other medical conditions. Since qualifying, he has worked at many well respected and renowned Dermatology centres across the UK to broaden his dermatology experience.
His passion had always been to become a Dermatologist and he is enthusiastic about all aspects of the skin and strives to offer the best and most up to date therapies to his patients. Patient satisfaction is of paramount importance to him and he always aims to tailor his treatment to the patient's needs. He looks after patients with all types of general dermatological conditions with particular interest and expertise in skin surgery from benign lesions such as skin tags, moles and cysts to more advanced skin cancer removal and repair and some aesthetic procedures. His philosophy is that no skin problem is too small or too big to be treated if this is affecting the patient. As a Dermatologist, he treats both adults and paediatrics with any type of skin condition including acne, eczema, psoriasis, moles and skin cancer, skin allergy, urticaria, blistering conditions, hyperhidrosis, vitiligo, warts, genital skin problems and hair, and nail disorders.
In addition to his clinical duties, he is involved in training medical students and junior doctors and is an educational supervisor for Dermatology trainees. He has given numerous presentations at scientific meetings across the UK and authored published work in medical journals and textbooks. He has been a core member of the Skin Cancer Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) and has been invited as faculty on numerous courses including the Facial Plastics Dissection course and Minor Skin Surgery Course.
In his spare time, he loves spending time with his children, plays basketball, and travel around the world.
Due to the corona virus outbreak Dr Kasparis is offering video consultations at a reduced rate of £125 for new patients and £100 for follow-up patients.
