About Dr Brian Hogan
Dr Brian Hogan is a Consultant Intensivist and Hepatologist with interests in all aspects of liver disease (including abnormal liver function tests, hepatitis, fatty liver disease, fibrosis and Fibroscan). He qualified from University College London Medical School in 2004 and completed specialist training in Critical Care Medicine, Hepatology and Liver Transplant at The Royal Free Hospital, King's College Hospital, Imperial College and Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals in London. Dr Hogan has been a Consultant since 2018 and is the Lead Clinician for Liver Critical Care at the Royal Free Hospital. Prior to working at Royal Free London, he was a Consultant Hepatologist and Intensivist in the Institute of Liver Studies at King's College Hospital. He practices on the Liver Intensive Care Unit and specialises in critical care for patients with liver disease, liver failure, those needing liver transplant and patients with cirrhosis and portal hypertension.
