About
Dr Patel graduated from King’s College London and completed his specialist postgraduate training in Respiratory and General Medicine at leading institutions including King’s College, St Thomas’s, and the Royal Brompton Hospitals. During this time, he also undertook a research doctorate (MD) in the Division of Asthma, Allergy and Lung Biology at King’s College London.
Dr Patel is actively involved in academic medicine and his research has been widely published in high-impact international journals. He has presented at major global conferences. He is a member of several professional and specialist bodies and remains engaged in both clinical and translational respiratory research.
Alongside his clinical and academic roles, Dr Patel is committed to medical education. He lectures on respiratory topics and plays a key role in leading undergraduate teaching at King’s College Hospital. His combined expertise ensures a holistic, evidence-based approach to patient care in all areas of respiratory medicine.
