About Dimitra Karyoti
Dimitra Karyoti is a Charted Physiotherapist based at Bodyset Liverpool Street, Clapham, and Victoria. Dimitra earned her bachelor's degree in physiotherapy at Metropolitan College in 2018, during which time she gained knowledge and expertise in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, post-operative patients, and neurological rehabilitation. Upon completion of her degree, Dimitra trained in manual therapy under the American Academy of Manipulative therapy which encompassed high-velocity low amplitude thrust manipulation for lumbar and sacroiliac dysfunction. Dimitra is continually developing her skills as a physiotherapist and is looking to undertake training in Pilates and dry needling to improve her rehabilitation programmes. Upon completion of her training, Dimitra came to the UK to work as a medico-legal physiotherapist, helping patients suffering from road traffic injuries such as whiplash.
