She is the Past Chair of the NSW State Branch Committee of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO) and has served as a Board Director of the Centre for Eye Health. She has also contributed her expertise as an advisor to the Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC) and as a member of the RANZCO Federal Council. She regularly provides lectures and training sessions for optometrists and general practitioners.
Her dedication to research has been recognised through awards such as the Australian Medical Association Scholarship for Research in Neurophysiology and the Sydney Women’s College Scholarship for Research. She is a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists (RANZCO), the Australian Society of Ophthalmologists (ASO), the Australian Medical Association (AMA), and the Royal Society of NSW.
Dr Farlow’s clinical expertise includes the management of a wide range of eye conditions, with a special focus on ocular surface disorders such as dry eye disease, allergic eye conditions, blepharitis, burns, scarring, and styes, as well as the treatment of minor eyelid lesions.
