He gained valuable experience working in the Oral Surgery Department of the Dublin Dental Hospital and completed surgical rotations, which enabled him to pass the Intercollegiate Membership exams in Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons.
In addition to his medical and dental qualifications, Mr. Thomas holds a Master's degree in Global Health from Trinity College Dublin and a Fellowship in Oral Surgery and Oral Medicine from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
