About Prof Prof. Dr. David Liu
Als Facharzt für Hals-, Nasen- und Ohrenheilkunde bin ich als Wahlarzt in Wien tätig und führe meine Ordination an zwei Standorten: Ordinationsstandorte Ordinationszentrum Rudolfinerhaus, Billrothstraße 78, 1190 Wien Medizin am Markt, Schönbrunner Straße 9, 1040 Wien In meiner HNO-Praxis biete ich moderne Diagnostik und Therapie des gesamten HNO-Fachgebiets an. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt auf Erkrankungen der Nase und Nasennebenhöhlen, der Verbesserung der Nasenatmung sowie der Behandlung von funktionellen Atemwegs- und Schlafstörungen bei Kindern und Erwachsenen. Meine fachlichen Schwerpunkte Endoskopische Nasennebenhöhlenchirurgie (FESS) Nasenatmungsbehinderung (Septum, Nasenmuscheln) Chronische Sinusitis und Nasenpolypen Kinder-HNO (Adenoide, Paukenröhrchen) Mandelentzündungen und Tonsillenoperationen Schnarchen und schlafbezogene Atmungsstörungen Allergische Rhinitis Riech- und Schmeckstörungen Ich betreue Patient:innen jeden Alters und lege großen Wert auf eine individuelle, evidenzbasierte und schonende Behandlung. Ausbildung und wissenschaftlicher Werdegang Prof. Dr. David Liu absolvierte sein Medizinstudium an der Medizinischen Universität Wien und schloss seine Facharztausbildung am Universitätsklinikum AKH Wien ab. Anschließend absolvierte er ein spezialisiertes chirurgisches Fellowship für Rhinologie und endoskopische Nasennebenhöhlen- und Schädelbasischirurgie an der Stanford University (USA). Prof. Liu ist Autor zahlreicher internationaler Publikationen und regelmäßig als Referent bei Fachkongressen tätig. Operative Behandlung Operationen werden in ausgewählten Wiener Privatkliniken durchgeführt. Ziel ist eine minimal-invasive, funktionell nachhaltige und möglichst schonende Therapie mit rascher Erholung.
