About Dr Danielle Wurzel
Dr Danielle Wurzel is a Paediatric Respiratory Physician at Offspring Health with consultant appointments at the Royal Children's Hospital. She is also an Honorary Senior Fellow in Paediatrics at the University of Melbourne and a Research Fellow at the Murdoch Children's Research Institute. Dr Wurzel completed her medical degree at Monash University in 2001 and was awarded her Fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in 2012. She also holds a PhD in Chronic Wet Cough and Bronchiectasis in Children and is currently involved in an ongoing research program investigating the early origins of bronchiectasis with the aim of developing interventions to prevent paediatric chronic lung disease. Dr Wurzel has clinical interests in managing a broad range of respiratory conditions and symptoms, with special interests in: childhood cough, asthma and breathing difficulties.
