About Dr Charles Dick
Dr Charles Dick is is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon with a particular interest in the treatment of conditions affecting the upper limb (hand, wrist, elbow, shoulder) and knee. He uses advanced technology including the use of patient customised 3D printed guides for the insertion of shoulder and knee replacements, offering outstanding results. Dr Dick was born in Northern Ireland, UK and graduated from The University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2000 During his surgical training with the Royal College of Surgeons of England, he worked as an anatomy demonstrator and lecturer at the University of Leeds, showing his dedication and aptitude for surgery. He earned his Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2006 and then emigrated to Australia to be with his wife, who is an anaesthetist from the Sunshine Coast. Dr. Dick then continued his orthopaedic training with the Queensland advanced orthopaedic training programme and was awarded his Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2015. Dr Charles Dick is also a Fellow of the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Dr Charles Dick sees patients at Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital, Noosa Private Hospital and Buderim Private Hospital, he holds a consultant position at Sunshine Coast University Hospital. He is also active in education and is a training supervisor to the advanced trainees of the Australian Orthopaedic Association.
