About Mr Campbell MacEachern
Mr Campbell MacEachern is a highly experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon specialising in hip and knee surgery at Spire Leeds Hospital. Mr. MacEachern studied medicine in Aberdeen. After this he went onto complete his basic surgical training – initially in Aberdeen and subsequently spending a year studying orthopaedics in Wellington, New Zealand. He became a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2005. Mr. MacEachern continued his training in Abberdeen, undertaking his higher surgical there also. During this time, he was the clinical lecturer for orthopaedics in the North of Scotland. He completed his higher surgical training in 2012 and then commenced senior fellowship posts. His first fellowship was spent in Aberdeen, focusing on joint replacement, complex joint replacement and revision joint replacements. He also commenced novel research on ways to image cartilage. Mr. MacEachern then moved to Leeds, to undertake his second fellowship. This allowed him to further his experience in joint replacement, unicompartmental knee replacement and revision joint replacement. He has thoroughly enjoyed working in Leeds and was delighted to accept a consultant post at Leeds Teaching Hospitals in 2014, where he is still based.
