About
Mr Kapur gained valuable experience as Major Trauma Fellow at Liverpool University Hospitals Foundation Trust and during his hip and knee primary and revision (re-do) joint replacement fellowship at James Cook University Hospital, South Tees NHS Foundation Trust. This focused on managing patients requiring complex joint replacements as well as failing joint replacements. He also completed the British Orthopaedic Association- Future Leaders Programme.
He is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board, based in Glan Clwyd Hospital, North Wales. He specialises in hip and joint replacement surgery and revision hip and knee surgery. For suitable patients, Mr Kapur looks to promote enhanced recovery, day case surgery and early supported discharge for his joint replacement patients.
He has presented nationally and internationally regarding hip and knee conditions and his publications reflect this focus.
Mr Kapur has a keen interest in training and education and has been awarded membership to the Academy of Medical Educators and Faculty of Surgical Trainers. He is also a British Hip Society Mentor.
