Dr Ayesha Ahmed is a dedicated and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist. She provides comprehensive psychiatric care to adults, offering a compassionate and understanding approach to help patients manage a wide range of mental health conditions. Dr Ahmed is committed to creating a reassuring and supportive environment where patients can feel comfortable discussing their concerns and working towards improved wellbeing.
Her clinical practice is built on providing evidence-based treatments tailored to the individual needs of each patient. Dr Ahmed has a particular focus on helping individuals with conditions such as anxiety and panic disorders, mood disorders including bipolar disorder, and depression. She also provides specialist care for perinatal mental health conditions and adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
Dr Ahmed earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from Fatima Jinnah Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan. She subsequently completed her extensive postgraduate training, including her residency and fellowship programmes, at National Health Service (NHS) teaching hospitals in London and Leicester in the United Kingdom, qualifying as a specialist.
