Dr Atena Shirafkan is a London-trained Dental Surgeon with over a decade of experience in general dentistry and cosmetic injectables. She graduated from Barts and The London School of Medicine and Dentistry with a Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry and is a member of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
She began her career with NHS and private practice roles, including posts at Oasis Dental Care, where she provided general dentistry, oral health education, domiciliary care, and special care dentistry. Since 2012, she has worked in private practice, combining her expertise in both dentistry and facial aesthetics.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr Shirafkan has volunteered abroad with Bridge2Aid in Tanzania, providing essential dental care to local communities and training healthcare professionals in basic emergency dentistry.
Her scope of practice covers both advanced dentistry and non-surgical facial aesthetics. She is experienced in anti-wrinkle treatments, dermal fillers, Profhilo injections, mini-thread facelifts, non-surgical rhinoplasty, and facial contouring, offering a wide range of treatments tailored to her patients’ needs.
