He holds both the Saudi Board of Family Medicine and the Arab Board of Family Medicine. Furthering his expertise in healthcare leadership, he also earned a Physician Executive Master of Business Administration from the University of Tennessee in the United States.
He is an active member of the medical community and holds memberships in several professional organisations, including the American Academy of Family Physicians and the World Organization of Family Doctors (WONCA). Dr Amir has also been involved in numerous leadership roles within healthcare, contributing to the development of primary and community healthcare services.
