Dr Antony Lighten
Obstetrics & Gynaecology
About
I am doubly qualified as both a medical doctor and a science PhD. With a strong science background, I base all of the treatments on the most up to date scientific evidence.
I studied medicine at Cambridge University Medical School. I have a PhD from Imperial College in London. I then trained as a Sub-Specialist in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery at the Oxford University Fertility Unit.
I was awarded the prize for the ‘most promising scientist’ for my research by the European Society for Human Reproduction and Embryology.
After many years of helping patients build their families, I welcomed my own baby, Kit, in 2019. I found myself in the humbling position of being a fertility patient myself. This experience has had a profound effect on my approach and inspired me to create my own complete fertility ecosystem at Minerva Fertility and Bond Day Hospital.
The team at Minerva Fertility and Bond Day Hospital will guide and support you throughout your fertility journey.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
