About
Dr Soares began his medical career in Nigeria, graduating with an MBBS from the University of Lagos in 1994. After relocating to the UK in 2005, he completed his Basic Psychiatry Training in London and Kent, Surrey and Sussex. He attained his MRCPsych in 2010, followed by a CCST in General Adult Psychiatry with a specialisation in Substance Misuse Psychiatry in 2017.
Dr Soares has worked across several NHS and private hospitals, offering comprehensive psychiatric care. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and a member of numerous professional organisations, including the Royal College of Psychiatrists, British Medical Association, and the European Psychiatric Association.
He is fluent in English and Yoruba, and is dedicated to providing compassionate care to those facing mental health challenges.
