About Mr Anthony Murphy
Mr. Anthony Murphy is a Consultant Podiatric Surgeon based in Lancashire and Manchester, offering a comprehensive range of surgical and non-surgical treatments for various foot and ankle conditions. With extensive clinical experience and expertise, he specialises in addressing conditions such as bunion deformity (hallux valgus), ingrown toenails, lesser toe deformities, metatarsalgia and many others. His academic background includes specialised training courses in foot and ankle surgery, such as the Rearfoot Surgery Course at the Podiatry Institute in Atlanta, USA, and the Foot & Ankle Surgical Skills Course at Warwick University, UK. He is also a faculty member of the Faculty of Podiatric Surgery at the College of Podiatrists and has completed research fellowships at the University of Salford. In his NHS role at Blackpool Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Mr. Murphy leads the Department of Foot and Ankle Surgery and conducts clinics at Euxton Hall Hospital and Oaklands Hospital.
