Dr Ananthababu Sadasivan, affectionately known as Dr Babu, is a highly experienced and Australasian Fellowship trained Neurosurgeon and Spinal Surgeon at Precision Health, serving patients in both public and private practice in Brisbane.
Dr Sadasivan completed his medical degree at the University of Kerala, India in 1990 followed by his Master of Surgery degree and MCh degree in Neurosurgery in India before embarking on a career spanning ten years in renowned neurosurgical centres across Australia, including Monash in Melbourne, Nepean Hospital in Sydney, and Sydney University as a teacher. He completed fellowships in spine surgery at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and general neurosurgery at Nepean Hospital in Sydney and in 2015, he became a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in Neurosurgery, as well as a Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
Dr Sadasivan excels in treating a diverse range of brain and spine conditions. His expertise extends to spinal degeneration, cranio-vertebral junction, brain tumours, and the application of minimally invasive and endoscopic surgical techniques, ensuring his patients receive cutting-edge treatments.
