About

Mr Amresh Singh is a highly experienced orthopaedic surgeon specialising in complex hip surgery, with a strong background in both clinical practice and surgical governance. He graduated in Medicine from Corpus Christi College, University of Cambridge in 2005 and achieved Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in Trauma and Orthopaedics in 2015, reflecting advanced specialist surgical training. He further strengthened his expertise with a Master of Science in Health Sciences (Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery) from the University of Warwick in 2017. Mr Singh was awarded the Murray Matthewson Prize in 2020 for the East of England Regional Trainer of the Year.

Mr Singh currently practises privately at Spire Cambridge Lea Hospital and the Spire King’s Lynn Clinic, alongside his NHS role at Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. In addition to his clinical work, he serves as Governance Lead for the Norfolk and Norwich Orthopaedic Department, where he plays a key role in maintaining high standards of patient safety, quality of care, and clinical outcomes.

His specialist interests include total hip replacement surgery, robotic-assisted total hip replacement, and revision hip surgery (NHS only at NNUH). He also has extensive experience managing fractures and trauma related to hip replacements, including fixation and complex revision procedures. Mr Singh is known for his evidence-based practice, and commitment to delivering patient-centred orthopaedic care.

“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
